Out of line?

So I was dating this chick bout 8 months ago, and it went really bad. She was living with her parents (20 years old) and me and her dad were really good friends. (Baton Rouge Police Department Sgt.) Some drama happened at her house, so I let her stay at my appt. For a week. In that week she stole my truck and went to see some other guy bout 30 min away, while I was at work. Now i havent heard from her in bout 7 months (since I've been with my new girl, who f'n rocks), but have seen her parents a few times around town, and they havent seen nor heard from her. But this morning i get this message on my Facebook, so I reply. Was i out of line?

I try not to be a rude person but a ho that does that type of poop is worthless IMO......Your current girl seems very cool (she put on rubber boots to walk down a muddy trail to watch us run rc's), no need to worry about an ex's problems. Been there, done that. I had an ex go that suicide threat route after I broke it off, so I felt obligated to spend another 3 months showing up late or not at all. Eventually she got sick of it and left me. Gotta' love it when a plan comes together.
I think you did right by telling her about seeing her parents, but don't let it go any farther. She's looking for people to pity her. Let's all laugh about it.
She's not the first dip-chick to go that route

yea, but she's not. And if she does? Technically i did report it cuz i showed the messages to my sgt and my LT and we all got a good laugh. This girl is an attention whore, and she pulled crap like this all the time. Just like she was pregnant 4 times while she was with me........ and we were only together for 3 months.
