We will gladly replace the defective good for a new one for free

How are you going to tell if an engine is defective, if it hasn't been ran? Seriously, they say they carry a manufacturers warranty for 6 months, but then you have 5 days from the date of receipt to return it if it's defective. Plus, it has to be unused. What a joke.:loser:

sxe7779-Is there a last chapter to this? Have you received the "Magic Wheel"?

sorry to say this but you guys are all wrong I have researched the magic wheel and smarttech has legaly purchased the design of the old tmaxx and is selling it as the magic wheel they are not ripping anyone of the smarttech company make several knock offs but they have legaly purchased the plans and design. godd luck with your car let us know how it runs. I have heard a few people on ather websites who have them they convert it completely to a tmax some of them others kept it stock and like it. SO DON'T SAY STUFF AND SAY HE GOT RIPPED OF MY A LEGIT RC COMPANY WHEN YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW

Wow...talk about a blast from the past. Whatever your reasoning for reviving this very old thread, your approach to delivering your information was...shall we say a little combative.

Whom and how many people in this thread say he got ripped off by any legitimate company? Most of us saw this as a knock-off of the T-Maxx right away and expressed interest in his purchase from an information only perspective.

When this thread died out a few months back, no one really cared to know much more than the end of the story. If you have better information on the product, share it with the rest of us...BUT do not revive an old thread and start throwing around demands like you own the place. That approach will get you no where with this crowd.

Where did you hear they bought the design? I just had a nasty post on our site supposedly from Traxxas saying they did not and that the rumour that it is legit is false. Who the hell knows?

smartech

i think you guys should look before you speak. i have been checking other reviews on smartech, and reading mostly good news on them, they are rated better than associated for the most popular brand. (http://www.rccartips.com/rc-cars-ezine-13.htm)

just goes to show you should give things a chance before judging them. i purchased a smartech winner 2 an i am quit excited to get it and see how it performs.
