I didn't read all the posts, but somebody mentioned that you need 12 batts in the revo which is false. You need 8 for the transmitter, and it comes with a rechargable pack and a charger. Big ++ in my book!

Have no fear young padawan..........there is no try ....there is only do or do not.

Follow the instructions and you will be fine. DO NOT be Tempted to show off or hammer the throttle until you have run thru all of the tanks.

And get a temp gun for the tuning part.
