well i used to hold speed controls and receivers in with hot glue. put duct tape on the bottom and chassis. apply glue, squish and bam! who needs servo tape? the thing is though, it worked really good! the tape usually gave up before the glue.
also "fixed" a body with hot glue once. apply, quickly smear with a paint stir stick. semi worked.
i bet it holds up way better than anyone thinks it will.

Nice! Yea, I think this should be pretty durable. Underneath the post there a little nub from the sct body post. I ground it to fit within the post extension. Loaded it with hot glue
