OMFG!!! best news I've heard in a LONG time!!

As some of you know i work for Lockheed Martin, subcontracted to NASA.

I just received an email from the managers i support on the cargo contract, requesting that i come to Florida with them to support an IT meeting about system changes to some workstations they use at KSC. This meeting just so happens to fall on the day of the may 14th launch!!!!

I GET TO GO SEE A SHUTTLE LAUNCH IN PERSON!!!!! OMG!!!

They already have my room reserved, and all we are waiting on is my manager to approve the two days off. Cargo is paying for all expenses!!

I'll stay away from Shuttle Launches....last one I saw in person blew up :-( Of course I was in 5th grade in Ft. Lauderdale when it happened....but still clear as day up in the sky!

I'v seen about three theres only three launches left and they are spectacular when ur up close you can hear the windows rattle and car alarms go off the best thing ever.
