I was wondering if anyone knew where to look online for old school bodies, i was looking for something like a 1970 mustang mach1 or boss or somthing like that. I dunno, just looking for old school 200m bodies, thanx for the help.

Chris

Anyone ever seen an 87-93 mustang body? I'm off in a minute to search for one.

Yeah, Me Too!

I'd love to find a '87-'93 FOX Mustang body too! Make a nice NMRA or Fun Ford race car replica!

I'd love to get my hands on a '66 hardtop too, but the only thing I've seen is the '66 fastback from Bolink.

So just how hard is it to mold your own Lexan lids?

No idea about molding lexan, but I can tell you I didn't have any luck finding an 87-93 lid. As far as Mustangs go all I could find was the one linked above, and a 99-04 stile Saleen. I would think they made them back in the day. Maybe keep your eyes on E-Bay, but I bet it would be hard to find in any kind of shape that you would want it.

Yeah, I've seen the Parma '70 Boss 302 body on here before, and the Bolink fastback (looks like a Shelby) I have the HPI Saleen Mustang already, and Tamiya makes a '94-'98 Cobra Mustang lid. Just would love to have lids to match my 1:1 Mustangs too! :ponder:

If you find one, let me know. I'm looking for a 92 Mustang LX body.

Nope. They have a 140mm 2000 Cobra R , a 2005 200mm cobra, and a 190mm Saleen. At least that is what came up after putting "mustang" in the search. Thanks anyway. Maybe there is someone out there that custom molds bodies? It would be expensive, but in my mind it would be worth it.

Hellion ya should snap some pics of your body making setup. Id like to take a peek and see how its done.

I'm strictly a camaro type of guy but having a fox body would be really cool just because its really not common.

my mess?

I have a CD full of pictures .I'll dig it up .If I can't find it I'll take some more for you

I was planing on doing a right up on my shop with a bunch of pictures and a walk threw on a body I'll make from design all the way into production . I think a catchy header would be: You too can get rid of the wife<<< (the real she devil ):eyes: and turn your whole house into a RC Factory

HPI has a complete set of three different muscle car bodies coming out sometime soon. Thier site is down right now (has been for a couple days according to my wife) but they relesaed a small tidbit of information in this month's "R/C Driver" rag.

Theey are releasing a Mustang Hatchback, A HemiCuda and a corvete (not sure about the corvete one, it may be a different model)

hmmm

I know it's a bit late seeing that the thread started in 8-05 but if you still haven't found one, HPI makes a gt350 mustang body (67 i believe...haven't painted mine, don't know if i'll ever get a chance to) and what looks to be a 68 'maro body. Both 200mm...they did make a 'Cuda body, but i think it's for the savage. They (HPI) came out with matching wheels and tires too. G'luck

Yup, I got the GT350 from HPI as soon as it came out. They are also coming out with a plain GT version (no Shelby mods). It's a fastback, not a hatchback tweak...

This is how I painted mine...

Still hoping someone will do a Fox Mustang (preferrably the '87-'93)...
