What's the sickest, fastest production RC truck? I was looking at the Thunder Tiger EK4. It comes with a .70 engine so it has to haul ass. They claim it beats out the T-Maxx and Savage .25. Check it out: http://www.rcmodels.com/rc-ttr-6216-f.html

I have also seen a truck with two motors, but that looks too hard to run and tune. I want something that pushes the limit of performance. Suggestions?

I currently own a T-Maxx 2.5, which runs good but the engine is working too hard to push the truck, plus it is a pain in the ass to keep tuned.

The Associated Monster GT would have to get my vote.

A ported stock engine will run right with or better than most of the .26 engines available. The Offna Picco .26 may be a better alternative for the GT, and even those engines can be modified to make even more power.... The GT has plenty of room for the biggest of big blocks, and they come from the factory with an excellent tuned pupe/header combo. Plus, all but the 2 speed gears are metal.... With the Savage 2 speed pionion gear set installed in the GT, the trans is bullet proof.

A gt with the Ofna Picco .26 will flat out kill a T Maxx, and out handlie it to boot. That sounds crazy, even I wouldn't have believed it untill I drove mine.

The best way I can describe the difference between an MGT, the T Maxx, and the Savage, is that the GT makes the other 2 look like they came from Radio Shack. Ofna makes some "Truggies" and they aren't even on the same page as the GT.

I will never own another T Maxx..... or any other Traxxas vehicle for that matter. HPI stuff IMO has always been junk, and the Savage doesn't have any appealing factors to me. Just my .02

If your just looking for a fast truck out of the box, check out the Schumacher Menace. They claim it will do 70mph out of the box. I've never seen one in person, so can't say anything about the quality of the truck though. I have seen a few video clips of the truck, and they do look hellish fast though! I've never seen Thunder Tiger EK4, so I can give no opinions on that one.

For a production truck, I would have to say the Ofna Twin Titan. Big and mean with the dual .26 engines.

I like the Mammoth, it's a solid fast truck out the box. Which is why i want one. I've heard good things about the MGT.

I like the Savage and the Mamoth, I think the MGT layout looks retarded.

After watching that video, I wish to change my vote to the Savage. That guy beat the poop out of his and it kept coming back for more.

That wasn't the Savage in the video, it was the Menace. It looked pretty stout for a small vehicle.

Last week I was running my Maxx with some Savage owners and I must say their stock Savages could definitely take more abuse than a stock Maxx. They claim they rarely if ever break anything. And these folks were jumping them pretty high and far.

One guy had the XTM .27 Pro installed and that thing was really hot. I'm selling one of my Maxx's to get one next weeek...

There is a Savage in the video; the one doing backflips is a Savage...the Menace is the small white truck that loses the wheel in the beginning...

Well,

THis is a very relative question and matter of personal prefference and opinions. I would check out the search feature here and read as much as possible.

The Fastest RTR is the Schumacher .21 Menace....I drove it a couple weeks ago and it's fast as phuck.

THe toughest RTR by popular opinion is the Savage .25.

Peace

LOL, that video is great. Assuming that's a Savage doing all the nice jumping, you would have to say it can definitely take some abuse.

I am still leaning towards the Thunder Tiger EK4. Has anyone driven one of them? The chassis on that truck looks so solid and well-built. Plus, it comes right from the factory with the .70 engine.

Uhh.....two of the best selling trucks ever look like they come from Radio Shack....????? The Savage has the best frame and suspension out there and is definately the toughest truck made to this day. The Tmaxx is the most popular RTR out there and has great manners on tight tracks... Radio Shack??????? The GT is a great truck but...is it as tough as a Savage...nope, is it as fast as a Savage...nope does it handle better than a Savage....YES. As far as Truggies go the Storm or Mammoth will SMOKE! the Maxx, Savage and the GT on the track and off. Dont get me wrong I like T. Associated but dont break your arm patting them on the back. Does anyone know why they put "fake" piggybacks on? Geez

I say a savage 25 all the way they can take a beating. Also if you hop them up the are almost industructable. Besides body and a couple of other things.

The fastest 'out-of-the-box' production truck I have seen run is the Kyosho Mad Force.

I have yet to see the Menace run..... But it looks pretty badass for speed.

I personally run a custom Maxx (CyberMaxx), a Picco .26 Savage and a stock Maxx .15 Pro (converted to OS CVX Hyper)

But the MadForce was the fastest I've seen yet.

The SICKEST would have to be the tricked out KlodBusters/ClodBusters that I have seen as well.

The MEANEST is by far the CyberMaxx that I built. No doubt about it!

Ofna Twin Titan

I can't find anywhere to buy a new Ofna Twin Titan. Can anyone give me a link to where I can order one? I need one now after watching some videos! Thanks guys

AHHHH-CHOOOOO!!! Who keeps stirring up the dust on these old threads???????????

Better get Rolex his Claritin and his inhaler when he hits the cloud of dust off this thread. Ok you are not going to find one of the Ofna Twin Titan trucks new. They are no longer made. Sometimes you can find them on E-bay. But twin nitro vehicles are more pain than they are worth. Pure gimmick and novelty.
