But it won't run with the body on? I can have it running without any troubles, with temps around 170, but as soon as I put the body on it stalls on take off. I take if off again, and it runs fine.

I hope you did not break in the engine at that temp as that is not even an ideal opertaing temperature. You want to be at 200 -215 for break in.

Well, back to square one... good thing I'm single and unemployed... I can spend another day working at it.. or two, or three, or maybe the next 6 months... bound to get it right eventually. -xmas-

Well.. went back to break in mode at an average temp of 215.... tuned it alittle... runs unbelieveable even with body on. Starts everytime. Only now I lost my brakes.... front transaxle came loose. Work on that tonight. Ready for the dirt tomorrow. :breakdown

Geez, you've had a string of bad luck...at least you figure out the next step everytime. Have fun!

Ur right, I don't now why I don't have brakes. The brakes should come on regardless of the front transaxle( which lost a screw and came loose)... and I broke the bottom motor brace too. guess I hit a curb too hard (but I do have heavy duty skid plates). So why did the brakes fail?

Look at your linkages and check the throttle servo. You may have damage there. Let us know.

Linkage looks ok, and I tightened it. If I appy the brakes by hand, shouldn't it prevent the wheels to turn? cause it doesn't. Well if I have to take it apart, I am quickly learning how to take it apart/assemble.

If you apply the brakes by hand, and the wheels still turn, then you may have to tighten the shoes up (make them closer together) or check that the shaft, when it rotates, actually pushes the shoes together. Did I miss this, but what rig is it?

no I never said, but a LST2. Well I'll see what happens when I get the transaxle back togther before I start messing with the brakes.

Talked to LHS, they said I lost brakes when the front transaxle became disconnected. Down for another week since I order my parts online.
