ok i have a guestion would a xl header fit a x 4.6

ok my guestion is would the xl header fit x 4.6 or will it hit the shock tower.

I would like to put one on my Savage X but the curve in the header looks to bring it to close to the shock tower. It sux cause I know what you mean about finding them on ebay for cheap!

Won’t work it will hit but hey this is a good reason to upgrade to the extended chassis lol

Probably won't hit the tower, but will hit the shock. The stock header on the old savage almost hit the shock. You could always just run a 4 shock setup and leave the inside shocks off... or convert to LST shocks... or get the HPI big bore shocks...

Probably cheaper to get the right header.

well it all fit and had no problem and no mods besides the four shock but i thank it will fit with the 8 to i will try and let everyone know. and I've got the the hpi four Big Bore Aluminum Shock Set but it fits thanks for all the help those.:whhooo::whhooo:

I tried to get it to work with 8 shocks on my X but couldnt get it to work i tried with 4 but they were stock shocks and the truck just seemed to sloppy for me I didnt know you had the hpi 4 Big Bore Aluminum Shocks
