I had posted before on what tires were available for it, and a conversion seemed like a good idea. You know, something that would allow Savage size tires or whatnot.

I also found adaptors to put standard 23mm wheels and tires on it. This would seem to be the best solution. any thoughts?

just my personal opinion i think 40 series tires on a baja 5b would look a bit funny. :\

Your right.The baja would handle like crap with 40's all the way around.

yeah, probably. But, maybe an adaptor that would allow you to use FG wheels and tires (there is one listed on that website). although the beadlocks make much more sense.

I have seen a pic with the Baja with the FG MT tires. It looks pretty good but those tires are awfully heavy. Then mounting them outboard on an adapter would put even more stress on the arms. Maybe just give HPI a chance to come up with some options.

A friend of mine runs Big Joes on his FG leopard.
Looks funny, but he say's it handles better. Go figure.
I don't know from experience, but thats what he said.
