Ok here is my latest: Its the Ferrari 360. I painted the horse on the hood that is not sticker! This was my first atempt at a checkered flag look. Also note the window tint. It was my first time trying to tint the windows. I was scared because at the end the body turned out so sick I thought I just didn't want to F it up trying to tint the windows and failing. I tried it anyway and used 70% thinner and 30% outlaw black. I did 2 lite coats and called it quits. It really finished the car in my mind. I will post some better pics later but I was at work and my desk was the only background.

Very nice. Looks like you get better with each body.

Yeah that's my 3rd body with this new airbrush. The dual action takes a little getting used to. I did one buggy and 2 micro's now. Just let me get some more paint time on it and I'm goin pro. I would have to say I enjoy the painting as much as I do driving, but it might be the fumes!:lick:

Thanks for the compliments guys I was looking for the afermation this morning:cheers:

Body looks great. bro! And the two comments made above? I feel the EXACT same way!

Hey guys, if ok with the mods how many of you would participate if I put on a body painting contest? With like a $30-$40 prize of something?

I dunnno, I think that contest should be two categories- Airbrush and Paintcans. Airbrushes are capable of such complex and cool designs. Not all of us (little kids) can't afford an airbrush and a air compressor. Also, I vote for candyman as the winnner...man he does good bodies.

Nice ferrari humbolt! Looks like you are getting better every time. I love the flag idea, looks pretty simple but it came out great. And when I first saw it I thought the horse really was a sticker! Shows just how good you are.

I thought the checkered flag would be easy too. I had to number each piece and then place them. I was kinda hard to get it to flow good but it came out alright in the end. I was going to do more fades but I thought about it and came to the dicision that keeping it kinda simple would hold true to the Ferrari look. Like I said if I get about 10 more bodies under my belt if I keep improving at the rate I think I am I'll be pretty damn good. Well I'll keep painting and keep posting them and let you guys be the judge.

That is a nice job. If you didn't say you painted it I would have thought it was a decal. Awesome job!!!

Thank you! The feedback makes me feel great. I am trying to produce top notch bodies but still have A LOT of practice to do. My latest project was the Skyline, but now I just finished masking off my newest master piece a 350 Z. I am going big on this one so stay tuned. If it turns out the way I am hoping it will be the best yet and put the other designs to shame.

I didn't see this thread when it first started. Nice job blazer...it looks very good.

Hey blazer the skyline is kick arse!! keep at it !!
