I just got my new Violator Buggie, On tank #3 of break in the steering servo just quit turning left. I recharged the hump pack battery and tried it again the next day..same problem, I read some other posts about similar problems with this servo. I will replace/upgrade the servo soon. My question is, are servo's a "standard" size? If I order online I have NO IDEA what to buy, I'm not a rich man--but I wont skimp on parts. I want to replace with good quaility items. Should I replace the throttle servo too while I have it apart?
I am a rookie to the R/C world with about 6 months or stick time, I have bought 3 vehicles so far, T-Maxx, Nitro4tec, and the Violator. I just want to have fun Bashing and still trying to find my groove.

Any Advise would be Great

I use the Hitec HS-625MG High-Speed 2BB MG Servo for the throttle. And the Hitec HS-645MG High-Torque 2BB for the steering there not to exspensive

Thanks for the replies, I heading to LHS to browse, then to Tower Hobbies if I can't find a replacement

You can't go wrong with Hitec servos I think. The 645 ande 625 are a great combo. Not too pricey either.
