which is a better truck i looked at the ofna pirate mt sport today and it look pretty good but which one should i choose the ofna or the traxxas sportmaxx

i did but I've been looking at trucks still since i dont have the money yet but i wanna make sure i get a good truck i just wanna know which truck is a better performing truck
Sikey, if I were in your position, I would look to get something durable and reliable.
In my opinion the Savage is one of the toughest trucks on the market.
If money is an issue, look for an older one, like the Savage .21.
Other trucks will break more frequently. Get used to bashing with that for now.
When you get good at driving the Savage,(not that you can't drive now), you can move onto a truck that is more suited for racing.

yea but rolex i wanted one from like a hobby store online so its brandnew and I'm using a credit card so do you know of any stores online

Hobbytown USA, Hobby Lobby to name a couple. Pick up a magazine on nitro cars and trucks and look through the ads. They all have a web site.
Do a search on Hobby Shops or R/C nitro cars or trucks. The search is your friend.

My $.02......
I was looking for an MT that was based on 1/8 scale - too many MT's are 1/10 based and bit to short wheel based for my taste. Any way, if you look out in the Unlimited races, most of your top drivers are driving something that is 1/8 scale. I decided on the Ofna Monster Pirate. As far as I'm concerned, they are really easy to work on, there are still hop ups out there, and you can definitely be just as competitive against the Maxx's and Savages with it. When setup correctly, they are awesome trucks. In fact, you can take them and with a front shock tower change out, front shocks changed and, if you wanted, swap out the center diff spool and you just upgraded it to a Dominator. Since I've gotten mine, I lightened the chassis with a JER mill, went with the Dominator changes, and am dropping in a HD CNC center diff. The truck is set! The diffs are easy to work on and get to - just make sure they are shimmed properly as with any diff. And the setup is very easy - nice driving and plenty of punch with a Hyper 8-port in it.
Just thought I'd give you my opinion, but as I have said before, I've never driven a T-Maxx or Savage, but I know others that have and they love their 1/8 scale MT's/truggies!
