Well..good news, bad news. I got the ok for the hoses (200 ft ) Heavy duty and the water key. Now, since I don't drive, gotta figure out how to get it from the guy who has it, to the track, and then back to his house when we are done. Not to worry, got some options. And time is on my side right now. Just wanted to let everyone know we will have water for the track. Well, 50/50 right now.
POSSIBLE BASH SCHEDULE CHANGE
Ok guys, heres the deal. Went on to my local site and the higher ups there are thinking about changing the date for our local races to the weekend we have set up our races for. The reason being is, they didn't take into concideration that the weekend they were going to race 2nd&3rd is also Labor day weekend. So we may be looking at a change in our date. I know that alot of you have already made air and hotel arrangments, but the good thing is the change has not been made. The second thing is, it sounds like there is going to be a change to the weekend that we decided to do this, the 9-10. I will keep you posted on what takes place, but I'm getting this feeling that they will change it buy some of the post's that are being displayed on the site.

I hate to tell you guys but the room rate will double IF you can get one.
Bad Idea to have it on a holiday weekend.
See what rooms are going for and who can still attend and we can go from there. I have a feeling a lot of folks are booked with family activities.
Why can't we still do it on the original planed weekend?

Bash spot or not, let's just meet up and have a good time. There is plenty of people to do and things to see in Reno.

I'm out if it moves to labor day weekend.
Either way, I am going up on the original date. With mountains on one side and desert on the other. There has to be a decent bash spot around Reno.

Got an email back today saying that they will be using the track for sure on Sept 10th all day from about 8:00am till around 4-5 ish. They will also be getting the track set up on Sat for race day Sun. They usally start this around 4:00pm till when they get done. So, a possibility for a good portion of Saturday. But then Sunday we are own our own. But I gotta feeling that's not going to be a problem for most of you.
So there it is fella's..Plan your days accourdingly.

With it a few short weeks away it's going to be a last-minute call for us. I plotted some graphs, and the rising cost of gasoline against the falling ROI of our collective businesses combined with the slackjaw ability of my customers to pay their f***ing bills may present a bit of a finacial difficulty for us. 
In English, we may have the money to spare and we may not. But we're still calling it a go, it will just be last minute.

I plan on getting into town around midnight Friday. Brian I will call you on your cell when I get into Reno, and see if you are up for hitting the tables and some drinks.
I'm hoping we can hit the track by 8 or 9 and start running before the weather gets too hot.
Since the track will be occupied by the locals at 4, we can head back to downtown at that time and grab a nice dinner. We can figure the rest of the party out then.
