Don't forget that I'm on a special diet. Bring me a Porter house steak. :)

I'm already bringing robriguez steak! Throw some A-1 on him and he's good to go! :)

no need for say sorry. just wanted to be sure before offending anyone. i'm fine with just waters and sodas...

Here are some pics from today. Moderators - let me know if these are too big and I'll size them down further. I spoke with the coordinators and we are all set for the 24th. They even said that they might be able to organize a bash for us on Sat the 23rd if we are interested. We would need to give them advance notice because the track is usually closed on Sat.

Now that would be sweet... I guess it all depends on how badly everyone wants to go to the city on Saturday.. If we were to bash on Saturday, Joe & I would most likely stay locally for the race on Sunday to cut out a 2nd trip in.. Either way, sounds good to me.. What does everyone else think about a bash on Saturday rather than a trip into the city?

I say the decision should be on the guys comming from out of state. Since they dont get a chance to go to NYC as often as we do I think they should decide on NYC trip. The local guys can go anytime we want.

I say if they out of state guys want NYC I will be happy to help play tourguide/taxi. If they would rather hang and bash then I'm even happier.

I'm not 100% sure what when or where, however I do know that Eddy and I will be hitting up NYC on Saturday. Again I'm not 100% on the details such as when where or for how long I've still got to get a hold of him.

I'm just guessing, but I'm betting Eddy and I won't be running until early Sunday morning.

For those of you from then NY area - how's North Bergen? The HOJO there seems to be decently priced.

I'm not too familiar with NJ, just how to get to and from certain places.
From what I understand, it's near the George Washing machine bridge.
Not really near anything Woodie.
It's right over the bridge from Spanish Harlem (about 179th street and Broadway).
You would have to travel trough regular Harlem to get downtown NY, and you'll be in North Jersey and the track is south....
Just a FYI.

Well I won't be staying in NYC due to price and the price of parking. This hotel offers free parking and is only 6miles from Central park and also offers free shuttles to NYC. I haven't checked train and sub stations yet.

I'd be driving there Friday night and letting the car sit until Sunday morning when it's time to head to the track. I just wanted to make sure the area was fairly nice - not downtown ghetto.
