Hi, I'm new to the rc world and have a few questions. I was recently given an offbrand nitro rc buggy and followed the directions on breaking it in and what not. Then the car wont start at all and when it does it cuts out in 2-3 seconds...I tried to "tune" it according to the manual that was given to me but that didnt seem to help at all, so now I'm stuck and it will not start I've tried everyhitng i can think of with what little info the manual gave me, I've got the blisters on my fingers from the pullstart to prove it. So I'm guessing it needs to be tuned and i know nothing about what each little screw is or does. Please help with tuning my car! Ill continue to look around on here for help/advice Thank you

1st question;

What car/truck is it and what engine does it have?

2nd question;

In what condition is the engine?

After he answers these questions....I'll leave it to the experts

The engine is a 15CXP-Engine...thats what it says in the horriable manual...the engine is in great condition, as i said i jsut got the car and just broke it in. i hope i broke it in correctly i ran 3 tanks of gas through it on idle then another tank just half throttle messing around in the street...i have never hit full throtle because it "got out of tune" i guess....It wont start and it needss to be tuned...thanx

Try turning both your LSN and HSN in about 1/8-1/4 of a turn. That's your Low speed needle, and your High speed needle, provided it's not a single needle carb. You will want to turn them to the right as your looking at them. That's going to lean it out a bit. I'm not familiar with this engine at all, but if you haven't adjusted the needle setting thus far, you're going to want to lean it some and finish the break in process. Good luck.
