Today I was cleaning up the workspace and noticed a bottle of super glue stuck in place, then realized it had a puddle around it and had glued a few things to the table. It was lightly touching an aluminum baffle, but I don't see how that could have reacted from outside the bottle. The hole was in the bottom, leaking more out when I squeezed it trying to pull it off.
I soaked up the uncured excess with paper towels which crackled as the glue reacted with them, and then pried off the glue bottle and cleaned the muck with acetone.
It was BSI insta-cure. Potent stuff and I'd gotten dozens of uses out of the bottle, so I don't mind, will just keep them all in a tray in the future just in case.
