O.K guys and girls, my GP stinks.

What is up with this o.s A5 GP?? It will start my Hyper Force .26 but it will not keep running more than 10 or 15 seconds. I was running a LC3 in it and it ran fine. Then I heard to run a cooler plug and now iit will not stay running. So a hot plug is the way to go hu? What are your thoughts on this? I just wonder why a medium cold want keep it running Iam running 20% nitro also. Why will this not run my buggy? I got 4 GP's A5, so I am a bit pissed!!

I'm with joneser4u, OS #8's are good for most engines. Colder plugs are best for higher nitro I believe, like 25%,30% on up.

I tried a A5 many years ago with my OS21RG when I got it (since the manual suggested it) and I couldn't get it to run worth a hoot. So, I gave up and threw in a #3 that I had a few of for my OS15CV-R and it ran fine. Then I switched to a #8 and the engine started easier, ran better and gave much better power.

I'm surprised you didn't notice some weird running using the LC3 since it's a hot plug like the #3, it's just longer for the 18TM and TRX engines.

I am glad you guys respond so fast!! The LC3 was the first I had left in my tool box ( 1 of 3 ) LOL... I ran it in my 3.3 or .20 TRX.Tomorrow I am going to see if I can trade the A5's for a few O.S #8's and see what happens. I would like a O.S mill holds a tune good also. But hopefulley the #8's do the trick. Oh I dont think I can go back to a Small Block just the way it ran when I had the LC3. So much flat out punch can't wait to try the #8's ! I will look into higher nitro the cooler the plug also.

I went and got the O.S LC3 since I no it screams on those.Plus they have a good life span. What do you think folks?

I run no.8 in my os .30 and in my s-25.

I no the LC3 will work. But I am going to try the 8 when he gets them in.
