Before I try I just wanted to make sure... I'm still waiting for my battery for the spin starter, and thought I read somewhere I could use a drill with the
spin start bit? Any precautions?

Thanks.

You have to put a good amount of pressure to the flywheel to get it to turn. A drill might not be the best solution.
Make sure the wheel turns the engine in the correct direction.

I have done it with my LST..YES MY LST WOOHOO!!! I have a 18v drill though... It works fine for me!!!

Not just any Yo Yo...Duncan only.... LOL . It actually is really helpful as my Savage won't spin even if I set my drill to high speed. The LST is a champ for the spin start option.

As to which way... I just got it this weekened used so I have yet to fire this one up enough to remember. I will let you know later tonite if no one does.
