Hey I was wondering, have any of you guys had this problem. I switched my tranny hub to the blue lighted one, now all of a suddened I have a problem with losing the screw that hold on second gear, I tryed both diffrent loc-tite to no avail, I am tired of buying thoses dam little screws and dont think its worth the part, yea it spools up quickly but not worth it, My gurlfriends ntc3 does not have this problem, any help, thanks all.

I have the lightened hub and didn't the problem your having. I would think the tension from the spring helps to hold the screw in place.

I am looking at it right now and there is that blue stuff in side the screw holes, I am going to figure away on removing the anodize out of it, maybe put the screw in and out a couple of time to ware it out, I think that the loctite can't bond to it.

Tighten it really REALLY tight and it should be fine. I've had that problem in the past and have blown multiple hubs/ 2-speed housings, and it was all because I wasn't tightening the screws enough, was paranoid i'd strip the aluminum (believe me, it's a little harder to strip than you think)

thanks, I didn't think I tighted it all the way I thought it would strip, I got the treads cleaned out ant locktite, I ran it this morning and not had a prob. thanks for the body, My gurlfriend painted and put the stickes on it. I did not know how to dod the carbonfiber, it looks good will post pics.

Just as a precautionary measure, you should clean the oneway bearing in the 2speed. It will give you loads of headaches when it does start to go bad because it looks like the slutch is engaging and disengaging when it's actually the oneway in the 2speed assembly.

Just remove it, clean and add a couple of drops of oneway oil. Not too much or it'll just slip all over the place. Replace it if it looks worn or slips.

Did you end up using the paint I provided? Got any pictures of the body?

Oh, and as far as the carbon fiber, First trim the body, then spray a little windex on teh body, put the CF on the windex, then kinda squeegie the windex out and the CF should settle on nicely. But fair warning, I never actually tried that.

BTW, glad to hear you got the hub thingie figured out :)
