I recently acquired a Fantom .12 to install into my NTC3.
The original pilot shaft has been cut off the fantom leaving just the threads.

The issue is that the clutch nut for the NTC3 threads are to small and the fantom has a cut pilot.
I have found a pilot nut for the NTC3 but again, the pilot shaft has been cut off so its of no use.

Is there a clutch nut made for a cut pilot shaft?
What are my choices other then replacing the crank?

Not quite sure if this will work, but it may be worth looking into.

I know that there are various clutch/pilot nuts for the RC10GT depending on the engine you have in there and I'm thinking if you can find the clutch nut for the 10GT that fits your Fantom it may work.

I hope this helps!

I have one here but its ti short. :(
Ill make some inquires at my LHS. They have seen it all and usually have the right part or know of one.
