This started as the patriot. My son ran it through a small amount of snow and it died. So the project began.(still not finished) decided to take parts from FMS LC80 and incorporate them. Not recommended they are not the same. At all. It has the purple 180t injora motor. FMS ESC, none of the lights work with that esc. The skid plate that supports the motor doesn't fit in the plastic frame. Made it fit along with injora links. All of which are "bolt on" for lc80. Not the patriotic rig we have here. The servo has given me the most problems. Still having problems today. It's been apart so many times but now that I e got it together again. I want to start all over and use Fcx18 chassis and axles.

They don't line up with body anymore and no matter what suspension I try they seem wonky and sticky. I'm guessing because of mangling the plastic chassis in a way it's not made to be. Input is very helpful. Also it has full interior to make it just a little more difficult. Entire center console is cut out to fit the enormous transmission and motor. Let me have it! Lol

Is the FCX Chassis long enough?
The links don't seem to be. Most likely because of where the skid place/motor mount had to go. The rear links in the pic from below are hanging on for dear life😂
