Just has my first encounter with a curb and I need to replace the left rear upright... How do I transfer the old bearings into the new one? Thanks a lot for your help.

If it is anything like other RCs, you probably need to just pop them out of the old part and pop them into the new part. Since I am not entirely familiar with the EVO your other posts mention, I am going to have to defer the finite details to those who know better.

In the future, it couldn't hurt to post your RC make and model somewhere in your post so that we can help you more quickly.

most bearings I've seen in uprights are just pressed in. Might be different in some, but I havnt seen it any other way yet.

He mentions an HPI 3 RTR Evo in a couple of his other posts...and that he had just received such for Christmas...betting that is the one in question.

I apologize, it is an HPI RS4 RTR 3 Evo. I tried to pop them out with the axel, but I didn't want to ruin the inner race, didn't know if there was a different way. Thank you for the the input.

it was fairly simple just popping them out with the shaft that goes through, I thought they were "pressed" in a lot tighter than they were. Thank you for the help.

There is "pressed" and then there is "PRESSED". In many cases, the pressed means that they were simply popped into place and not mechanically pressed for permanence.

Glad they came out easily...sometimes they do not. Good luck with the next encounter with the curb. :D
