How do I know if the engine is running rich or lean drove around a dirt track for about 2 hours and by the end the truck was bogging down .

I'm no nitro expert, but 2hrs is a long time. Did you stop at all to refuel or let it cool down? Or did you run it continuously tank after tank?

You might want to check your air filter. After 2 hours of running it probably needs cleaning. Traxxas recommends cleaning the filter after every hour of running.

Driving a car for 2 hours not knowing how what it sounds lean or rich is a record for me
If you're engine bogs down without a lot of smoke and sort of screaming, its lean.
If you have a lot of smoke and the engine sounds are crispy it's bogging down because it's too rich.
