I'm in the process of putting slash rear a arms on the front of my Rustler I came into an issue regarding the fiberglass dog bone in the front. I can't really figure out a way to keep that on without having to buy material from Home Depot. I'm not sure what to do. is that absolutely necessary in order to have the truck run properly? I got it pretty well so far. I just need to figure out what to do with this fiberglass dog bone. Any help is appreciated. Here's a picture.

It's there to give the hinge pin holder more strength. It will work without it, but will be weaker and potentially snap the holder if you hit something.

Most I've seen are aluminum, not fiberglass.
