Build Thread Nitro new build

Hi, I'm looking for some advice. I dabbled with nitro cars a few years back, 10 to be exact. I was up in the loft the other day and came accross my Tamiya Nitro Force that I build all that years ago. It's in need of lots of TLC but it looks like I'd struggle to get most of the required parts. What I'm looking for is a new project. Initial searching has got me looking at a GS racing CLX. Anyone any other ideas or opinions?

What type of nitro RC are you thinking of for your project?

Really not sure what to go for to be honest. I don't want to break the bank but want a decent self build kit.

They are all in the UK although except HPI. Hopefully they can ship to the us, they should be able to.

Personally, I'd steer clear of HPI until they start sourcing parts again. Then again, could just be a US problem with the parts.

If you are concerned about them being able to ship the kits, consider carefully availability of parts! No parts, no kit imo! Waiting a week every time you need something tends to suck!

Very true Mike, I'm having to wait three weeks for tires from Japan right now.
Hope their worth it.

I just got some glow plug starters from China.
took a little over a week to get them

yea, i think so. had HSP batteries in them
