Hi guys, and girls, if there are any here? Just wondering if its just me but here it is. My engine is perfectly tuned, and has no fuel line leaks, no bogging issues lean or rich. Yet I am having to take the reciever box, engine complete with mounts, and fuel tank out to clean the chassis and various parts of deposited fuel from the engine spitting it everywhere. Is it normal? I am thinking the fuel should either be burnt, or maybe some come out the pipe if running a little rich. Is it normal to have fuel coating the inside of the chassis after a short time?

It depends on the location of the pipe. I run mine for a few hours and if I'm in grass (not mud/dirt), the only thing that needs any real cleaning is the arm/wheel directly behind the pipe. Short of any fuel spillage mishaps, the chassis is usually bone dry.

Mine gets a little oily and grimy around the motor and carb, but not after a short run, more like a few hours if I don't clean it

Personally, i strip and clean mine nitro rides after evrey run, stops any "Serious" build up of crud. It can happen though, every nitro vehicle is "Unique" in the way its built, whether at the factory or by an individual.

Where do you get exhaust deflectors? I see pics of nitros with them but I have never seen them for sale
