I can't prime my engine by blocking the exhaust. But I did it with no problem when blowing through the exhaust outlet or the back pressure tube.
When i crank the engine over one time (with the exhaust blocked trying to prime it) i can see the fuel in the line moving forward (by forward i mean 1 cm) BUT when i crank it one more time i hear the sound of an air leak and the fuel in the line actually move back one step.
The head is sealed, the exhaust gasket and coupling are also sealed, and I'm pretty sure that there's no leak in the fuel tank cap and fuel tubs as well.
But i do think that it has something to do with the carb.
But the engine does start and run ok.

engine: SH .28 P8.

blow that pipe stay protected use silicon..lol

Hey bud he's a jackwagon. Found this for you. Has a fee thing to look at on the engine.

yeah, that guy had the exact same problem as me when running his truck, it turns out for me as well to be the fuel, i recently switched from optimix 16% nitro 15% oil to their race version (10% oil instead), and as he said, when u run lean, your timing gets advanced. And plus the fact that I'm running low compression and the coldest plug i could find, it makes the situation even worst, so I've now simply replaced my plug to something longer and hotter (more compression) and is now ready to retune my engine!
(exciting to see how it'd perform tomorrow)
