i got a nitro car brand new has a 21CXP - .21 Engine if that matters with a pull start i can't get it to start up i even tried a new glow plug its not flooded thats the first thing i checked the only problem i can think of is I'm using a AA battery glow plug starter and i put a glow plug on the end of it and it didnt glow so maybe its not getting enough juice i even tried brand new battery are these sufficient for starting this type of engine?

battery powered glow ignitors are crap. get out while you can. after that... check tuning, then make sure fuel is getting to the carb. how many times did you pull the starter before giving up?

i had an extra glow plug i bought its brand new even with that one the glow starter didnt light up the glow plug

If the glow pug is new and the battery is new then there's only 2 other possibilities. Either the ignitor itself is has a problem or did you put the battery in upside down? If you have a volt meter you can check between the center and outside and clip fingers on the igniter and see if you have voltage present.

So do you have nuclear powered glow ignitor? No much else out there unless you have a really long extension chord to plug into the wall.

Hey, I want one of those, no need to worry about charging the darned things...

Find one that is rechargeable its cheaper in the long run. If you rather use dry cells find one that uses c cell it'll last longer.Take the plastic protector off the end. LOL:p:

Hey thanks for the help guys it was the batteries i bought cheap batteries i got some good batteries and the car started right up now i feel like an idiot lol
