I've got a losi 1/8 Raminator. I bought the Ni-MH receiver pack with it. I know that I heard in the past charging re-chargable batteries and not running them down all the way before re-charging them could lead to problems like memory, esp if they get used about the same amount of time each time. I also know that it doesn't matter on certain types. What I don't know is whether Ni-MH falls into the first or second category.

Well the answer is both. NiMH batteries don't suffer from the memory problems like the Ni-Cd batteries of the past, but a lot of the battery companies still reccomend completely discharging them sometimes to prevent them from getting memory, because even though it's not nearly as bad as the NiCd, they can still develop some memory. I don't always completely discharge them, but I cycle them completely sometimes just be on the safe side.
