Please can someone advise

I have gone through several electric cars and decided to have a play with a nitro. unfortunatly i am having problems with my electrics' if i put a new battery pack on then the battery seems to run out within minutes
I have used AAA batteries then changed them to nicad rechargables still the same problem then swapped out both servo's and still is happening, is it possible for the reciever to flatten the batteries?
Also i live in Horsham West Sussex, does any of you know where there is any good clubs or places to go, to race in that area.

Every receiver pack that I have seen uses Double AA batteries not Triple AAA batteries. With my 4 double A battries I can get 2 solid weekends of bashing before I notice a performace drop.

it may sound kind of weird, but AAA are still 1.5v but just have a lower mah rating (wouldn't last as long). if you're really putting AAA batteries in your ride and it wasn't a typo, that would be the problem.

other than that, i would try swapping out the reciver for a different one and see what happens.

how long does it take to kill the batteries?

no life in my Batterys

I have used AAA batterys and the NIcad rechargeable battery pack that was recommended by a RC shop.

It takes around 3 minutes for them to run flat:
