iam just getting into the r/c world, i have a tmaxx with the 3.3 its all stock iam looking to up the performance a littlebit.

what are some good performance mods that i can do to this thing seems like the THS pipes are popular what about the buku pipes they anygood and a motor saver airfilter. Do they have like a bigbore piston and sleeve i can put in iam very new at this r/c stuff tuneing is no problem for me just need to know what are good mods so i dont waste my cash

also my clutch is out it "clutch bell" dosnt hardly move when WOT what is a good simple clutch setup iam not looking for max performance that i have to screw with it alot or high maintnece just looking for something a little better then stock that will last longer than stock and hopefully put the power down to the ground

Get yourself an os.21tm engine and a nice 3 shoe clutch setup and a tuned pipe that will get you haulin.I would'nt waste my money on the traxxs engine.:D

took at the throttle linkage. get new levers to speed up the throttle linkage. this will only improve throttle response. iam in the middle of putting a max-21tm engine in my jato. it is a true bolt in swap, its not running yet.

I second w bill's motion, the OS .21TM is a badass motor! I just dropped one in my Revo and it screams! Sucker holds a tune like noones business too!

You could also look into getting a Picco .26 Max or .26 Max JL Reddot, they are also direct drop in motors and have enormous power! You may be changing out more parts more often unless you start upgrading but then again if you keep your slipper adjusted correctly you may not. I just ordered the Picco .26 JL RD for my T-Maxx as they finally came back into stock, I'm still waiting for it to get here though.

As for small performance changes depending on what your looking at getting out of the truck, you can change your CB and Spur for low end torque or high end speed. Aswell a 3 shoe clutch and hardened CB are good options too. Integy makes a cheap clutch upgrade that performs quite nicely and Robinson Racing makes high quality spurs, clutchbells and slipper clutchs aswell!
