My Doom

Has anyone received any of these emails? They say "hello" and some other ways. Be careful with these emails. I received these at my job and luckily our ISP provider notified us of it. I will post the email later. Be careful guys!!! Jon

yes, it says something about 7 bit ascii code images, i have recieved 3 in the past 2 days. thats more mail than i recieve per week usually. anyways, i heard its the new fasest spreading worm in history.

Yea I had a ton in my work email....but all the virus were stripped at the mail server....work should be fun tomorrow LOL

Yeah, some of you already have the virus as I've so far received about 20-30 emails from people with the virus attached.

Really? From within the forum? THat is really scary!! Everyone stop PMing !! Yeah like that will happen. I have Nortons anti virus Corporate edition. Hope that stops it!!

I use AVG anti-virus free edition, I have heard nothing but good about it. Anyone know if it is in fact any good

Problem with this virus is that it does not come from the person in the From: header. That is spoofed. Seeing it all day today at work. Our Exchange boxes are catching it before it hits the desktops.

I got a Mac, yeah! Let me see, yet another backdoor exploit in windows. :suprise: My big question is: if it's so hard to log on, why is it so easy to open a back door? Tell Bill to quit feeding us eye candy and fix the damned code.

THIS SUCKS! This damn virus/worm is the reason I was off the last three days. What a friggin nightmare! And I was running Norton anti virus 2003, and Zone Alarm, it still got in. I also did not open any attachments from anyone, thats the wierd part. I received about 5 emails with this worm in it within 3 days, just deleted them all, but I still got screwed.

They really need to make the penalties for these assholes that create these viruses, much more severe, just let me have 15 min with alone with one of them

None that I'm aware of. My isp has done a good job of screeing them plus I use av software on the computers. I have not seen one of the emails containing it.

is changed, i got an email earlier by the name of "server report" and had a .zip as usual, and i opened i also and saw



"file.doc .scr"


the other emails i got were this in the zip :
"tex.doc .exe"

Sounds like you are running AVF or something similar like me on the Exchange, some may say it is administration nightmare, but at times like this I thank having my own mail server. Blaze on and keep that pimp hand strong.

The sad part is NC, that often times these guys get really good jobs with antivirus companies after they get a slap on the wrist.
