What are your thoughts? I am purposely avoiding all horizon hobby brands for this build, so I am not considering anything from Proline. I love Jconcepts but I am looking for a more scale look for this build.

Wheels was one thing I was holding off on getting until I found out what the color is. I do have a set of proline 2.2 tires laying around, not sure if they gonna work out though on this.

I hope you get some awesome stuff in there! Though, I am not sure of much that Reef's makes that isn't top shelf. I have two brand new Brass 1100s, and a new 99 just waiting to be installed in the Capra, I'm not sure you can do any better than Reef's. If I had any need for anything else, I might even take a gamble on that box, myself, but alas I don't. Good luck, and let us know what you score!

I'm pretty sure Matt from the Scale Builders Guild stretched some 1.9 tires of 2.2 wheels on his.

For my Capra build, I purchased two sets of wheels and tires, both sets from DluxFab. I wanted to add the Dlux heavy brass portal covers, along with the weight hangers, so for one set of wheels and tires I got the Dlux Ultra High Clearance wheels, coupled with Dlux 2.2 Goat tires and custom Squid inserts. The second set of wheels are the Dlux Loaded Dice, coupled with the Extreme Route Huge Pin tires.

I will! Said it’s expected to ship Dec 3rd. I was gonna grab a raw 500 for this anyway so I figured the gamble may be worth it. We shall see

Same for us . It’s just good time spent with my son building, bashing, breaking, repeat . Will be more of a trail buggy then a serious crawler for us

Looking forward to seeing how this comes out. I would do narrow 2.2" wheels and stretch a set of ProLine Krawlers with some CI comp foams. It'd look brodozer slick and mostly likely trail very well. Keep it light and nimble, a fun trail truck.

I got the stock ones off our bronco

I was holding off on getting the wheels until I knew what body I was getting. But this might be what I run initially. I’m debating on sticking this under the tree for me or putting the element kit I ordered under there

I did the "trucks of fortune" a couple years ago and got a phoenix portal kit and some nice beadlocks with accessories. It was $499. There are way too many RTR's in there lineup for me to take that kind of chance now.
