well I am have to say you are one lucky guy... may I ask why you need two of them?

Congrats...I have had mine for two weeks now..I have only had time to run two tanks through it so far..

damn, id give my left nut just for one of them.. your one lucky fella!

The reason for me having 2 is one of my buddies is going to buy one from me today........

I've only got 1 tank run through mine thus far, tank of fuel lasts flipin' forever in these things.......lol........nice FG Zandor!

Durability seems to be good so far but I really haven't pushed it because of the parts availability............there is none right now

LOL.. thats why he had 2...he's buddies is the parts machine.....Nice pic there buddy..looks awesome..now go get them dirty.

Took them out and got them dirty today........sprayed down the "track" and let them rip.........lol........mud was going everywhere..........

Rear tire sidewalls are a little weak/thin I think........have a few tears in both tires, looks like I'll have to get a new set and I've only run a few tanks through it so far. Other than that its durable, I was launching it off about a 3 foot hill, getting about 6 feet of air (height) landing bad and cartwheeling......LOL........everything held together though.

My bud did try to catch it in midair, course he didnt do it intentionally..LOL he was standing on the wrong end of the jump and well.........he got hit.......hard too....LOL......he's OK but his arm/ribs were hurting quite a bit............

Did take some action shots but with the crappy digi-cam I have the shutter speed is too slow and by the time it snapped, buggy was gone.......try it again next weekend........

Have you checked www.RushRC.com? I've heard he's carrying a full line of Baja 5B parts.

Thanks Woodie but yea most of his stuff is on backorder as well.

I called HPI this morning about a set of rear tires beings mine has just ripped apart. They said they were having probs with them and they would send me a new set..................as soon as they got some, they're waiting on parts as well so...........my name and addy went onto a list and when my number's called, I'll get a set....LOL

you know how it is when something new hits the streets, manufactures have the product ready before they have an ample parts supply in stock.........

oh well............I'm still in love........LOL :breakdown

hey buzzard..........yer still a loser :loser: .........my gt was hangin rite behind it.........for a second, till you started pepering it with dirt and rock. lol. but man that thing was holdin togeather pretty good, course you and gator keep rolling them like that i'ma have to go to a gym just so i can keep fliping them over, cause those things are flippin heavy. anyways catch ya later dude.

I've heard (and seen pics of) there are a few problems with the baja.

1 is that the rear wheels flex badly and end up rubbing the bottom of the arms, right by where the bottom of the shocks mount, thus wearing it and the wheels.

2 is that the tyres are weak, but youve allready found that out.:hehe:

another think is that hpi are up to their old tricks again, with odd wheel hex sizes, and mounting the engine with the exhuast at the back, so no aftermarket pipes fit it properly.

still prefer FG's myself-xmas-

yea I've started to notice the rubbing your talking about..........but its not just the rears, fronts do it as well..........and the tires, yea well, they are just to soft/thin to handle the engine I guess.....I managed to CA one of them back together, actually holding too, but the other side blew out during an exhibition show we had at the flying field for the 4th of July. Totally sux as I'm still waiting for HPI to send me my replacements......

looks like it may be time to go mill out some adapters of some sort and mount some 40's on there....LOL........

mega-maxx, can you show me a pic of the hex and the inside of the wheel on your FG? Also the dimensions? Thanks

Looking great NitroBuzzard. Aren't they just so good looking ? I can just sit and ogle at the Baja, beer in hand, for ages. Oooh, that make me sound weird? :opps: :hehe:

Hope you're having fun with it/them.
