Nice pistola. You're on a spending spree! I wish being an electrician paid that much.
What made you choose that one?

OK Rockafeller.... lol What exactly do you do for a living ??

BTW, you got some nice Toys.... Enjoy

I've seen the reliability and stopping power of a 45 in combat plus the things are mook proof.

Last toy probably for the rest of the year. I just had a big bonus and invested 75%, saved 15% to get my gf and her son here from Colombia and played with 10% of it.

It's good to hear that you're having fun with things. I myself wouldn't do it any other way. These hobbies cost a lot, but if they make you happy then it's all worth it. What kind of work do you do?

Ah yes a nice Kimber Stainless II...I happen to own one myself....besides my gold cup Kimber the stainless II has no competition in the accuracy department among all my 45s....nice selection.

Thanks. I popped off a mag tonight at my buddy's place (he lives back in dueling banjos area so shots in the night mean nothing). It has a bit more kick that I remember but nothing I can't handle and nothing like a colt python.

Nice heat...You need some of these babies to load her up with. They kick @#%. You can scoop up a 6-pack for about $12.

Magsafe .45 ACP #45SS (+ P SUPER SWAT)
Weight: 68 grain
Velocity: 2,260 fps
Energy Dump: 771 ft-lbs
(It only take 30 ft-lbs to shatter a human bone.)

Check out how they disperse in the gun jello.

Good freaking lord you got a big ass bonus! You spent a little over 2k at tower hobbies and that doesn't include your gun! So if I do my math right. You got a bonus of over 20k? I didnt know drug dealers go bonus's. Jk, good to hear the good fortune.
and last for the year? You have to break something on one of your RC's between now and dec 31.

Nice 1911 Style Kimber as I have the same exact model...lol. The only diff is I have the hogue molded hand grips and only run Wilson combat mags. I was suprised as hell how light the alluminum lower is when I first stripped it but kimber says it's tested for 20,000+ rounds before it shows any "substantial" wear.

Recoil is more then I care for in a "Compact" 1911 do largerly in part to the very-leight lower. It's plenty accurate as I have large hands and can actually shoot.

What did you pay, I remember paying exactly $800 out the door. Love Kimber or hate them, you can't get a better quality "custom" 1911 varient for the price. I have a varitable arsenal of Original 1911's in my safe from my late grandfather.

Actually 30k was the bonus and I actually blew about 4k on toys but math was never my strong suit so I figured 10% was close enough.

I was thinking just for fun to slap a pair of DYE sticky grips on there for kicks.

Whaddup EP,

I love it with the Hogue sticky finger groved grips and I've NEVER had a problem with 100's of rounds through Wilson Combat mags in various 1911's. I c a noticable difference in follow up shot accuracy with the Hogue grips.

She'll eat most anything you put through her and their's no freaking way your going to wear out the match grade barrel. My favorite practice ammo in that particular .45 is UMC (Yellow box by Remington). I use to shoot allot of PMC (aka Precision made crap) but I was getting some nasty ass fouling that looked like little chucks of metal. I just wipe down the entire gun with Silicone "impregnated" cloths after shooting and she still looks beautiful.

I also put nights sights on it as I carry it allot but I can't think of the brand offhand as I'm tired as hell. I think I payed $75 for the sights.

I love the yellow box too. I already have tritium night sights on her stock out of the box. It was pretty cool this evening when I dissassebled her and I didn't have to even thing about it I just did it as a matter of reflex. Guess I've taken a few hundred too many apart over the years.

Like tank Girl says, "P-P-P-POW!"

Nice heater EP!. Might get to bust some caps this weekend.

Any Lugar shooters here? I've got a 1929 DWM 9mm Lugar. Shoots like a target pistol. 6" groups at 50 yards with hardball. I'd love to have one in .45

why not 2 inch groups at 50 yards?

I happen to love the .45 as all my handguns are .45s but I would pretty much trade them all in for Kimbers.

I wish I had listened to all the people who swore by Kimbers and told me not to waste money on H&K, Glock, Sig Sauer, and Les Baers.

Good Luck with the Kimber...

I have always wanted a Kimber... I was actually thinking of selling my Pre-Ban AR-15 to buy one. I really don't get too much of a chance to shoot long guns where I live.

Colt commander here, not a target piece but non-the-less a destroyer of fence posts.
