Got an FMS 1:24 Power Wagon. Added chassis extension kit, filled shocks with oil. Was challenging being the first time modifying RC stuff. Anyway, when turning either direction the truck studders and is jerky. Doesn't do it going backwards or when upside down. Connections don't appear to be tight or binding. Sure would appreciate any suggestions.........thanks.

Driving on a grippy flat surface will sometimes do that with a fully locked drivetrain (no diffs). Also a good way to introduce wear or possibpy break something, just like in some 1:1 4x4s!

In the old days of primitive straight axle (real) 4WD trucks, one had to be very careful not to drive on hard pavement or any surface where there was no slippage for the front wheels while in 4WD. If you did, the front would skip and stutter and the tires would likely chirp. The grip of the front tires while the front drivetrain was engaged could torsionally snap an axle, break a housing or sheer some gears further on.
It was a bad scene.
That's what's happening on your FMS. Luckily the drivetrain on these little guys is way more stout than real life steel trucks and you most likely won't suffer the same damage.
Enjoy your truck.
