New to hobby radio question

I have what may be a stupid question but I'm new so please bear with me. I have a Team Ass. xp3-ss receiver / transmitter that I am putting in an rc10gt. I have read about the binding of r/t and am wondering if I am able to use this reciever for other cars. Providing I will use a similar transmitter. How do I go about doing this? I would like to have one receiver for multiple vehicles.

You CAN use the same receiver for other cars it is just a pain to always swat them out. Now are you wanting to use the Controller for multiple vehicles or the receiver out of the car in multi vehicles? Since it is a 2.4 you will need to have the same type together to bind them and make them work. 2.4 is not just 2.4.....a Traxxas 2.4 will not bind with a Futaba or a Futaba with an Airtronics....ect. If you want to go that route they all have to be the same.
