new to forum got a few questions

hey, I'm new to this forum and i gota few questions, if you couldent tell by the subject.. anyway where do you guys shop fo ryour stuff online, such as fuel. the only places i see for fuel sell it in quarts and combo packs of 4 or 6 gallons, do you know wher ei can get a good price for a single gallon? there is a hobbie store in town but the guy is a jerk so i dont like to shop there :/

the reason i hate my hobbie store guy, he was a jerk A and B when i had my old duratrax maximum ST he told me a new clutch bell was 30 dollars then i went home and found it online for like 9 dollars, havnet been ther esince

looks like ill have to get fuel from him unless i wanna shop in quarts :/

By law they can't ship fuel in quantities larger than 1 quart. I dont understand that because the LHS has to have the Fuel shipped to them as well, but whatever. I doubt you will be able to find an ONLINE shop that can sell a full gallon.

If you check the "links" menu item at the top of the screen you'll find some great shops to buy from.

I usually by from Towerhobbies or Horizonhobbies. They are both great with decent prices and good shipping.

unfortunatly u can't buy gas off the internet by the gallon. u can buy 4 quarts which is a gallon. also with the shipping it can only be ground. if u do the 4 gallons of gas u have to pay a hasmat fee of $25 i think it is, could be different on other sites. if u really hate ur lhs owner then buy a case which is like 4 gallons off tower hobbies or somethin.

Maxx Trooper is correct. There is a 25 to 30 dollar Hazmat (Hazardous Materials) fee attached to gallon shipments. Quarts do not have the fee. When the LHS orders a large shipment of gallons, the fee is absorbed. $30 for one gallon, or the same for a hundred cases.
