New Slash Problems

Hey guys,
i bought a traxxas slash if you didnt know. I took it out today and now there is a weird sound when i accelerate. It sounds like a whurring kind of and i dont get the same punch. it does about 5mph now . I thought these were indestructable. And i didnt even run it hard, i would run it for about 7 mins and let it cool down each run.
any advice is welcome!!!

My first guess would be your slipper needs to be tightened. Unfortunatly I dont have any experience with the Traxxas Slash 4X4 so I'm just guessing here.

yeah me too. the spur and pinion are together,spur isnt stripped. so it must be slipper.

Unfortunately there arent any vehicles that are indestructable. If there were they would sell like crazy. probably the slipper clutch. same thing happened to my rusty vxl and just had to adjust it. The traxxas slashy is a great truck. Have fun and good luck

hahaha. Well turns out the motor was bad popped in a new velineon yesterday and she runs like a dream!! Had to adjust the slipper just a tad and its all good now!
