New Rlaarlo 1/7 Unimog

I'll be ordering the Silver Brushless tomorrow morning when they go on sale - definitely seems worth the upgrade for the steel gears. And, 6S?!!!
 
You don't have to use the autonomous controls and believe the "follow" function requires purchase of an additional "transmitter" (that you keep on your person), but we'll find out because I ordered the Black Brushless today when they finally went live. $99 air ship from China, expected in 7-10 days.

I liked getting an update E-mail from RLAARLO but didn't like that I was in the "To" line (vs. "BCC") along with 43 others!!!! :mad:

I really love my Rlaarlo products but I think they need to slow down a bit to avoid issues like this and their rushed release of not-quite-ready for final sale XTS-S10 cars to YouTube reviewers.

I currently have three parts orders not yet shipped at Rlaarlo, one of which is from May 11.

After careful internal review, we made the difficult decision to scrap the affected batch and restart production, as we do not want any unit delivered to you unless it fully meets our quality expectations.

We fully understand how frustrating and disappointing this delay may be, and we take full responsibility for the situation.

As a result, the updated estimated shipping schedule has been adjusted to early July.

To express our sincere apology and appreciation for your patience and understanding, we will also include a 5000mAh 3S battery as a complimentary gift with your order.

We know this does not fully make up for the delay, but please be assured that our decision is guided by one principle only: we would rather delay delivery than compromise on quality.

Thank you for your trust, patience, and continued support. We truly value every Unimog customer and remain fully committed to delivering a product that meets—and exceeds—your expectations.

I guess the free battery helps? I doubt I'll try to cancel and get a refund, as they've already charged my CC and I paid the CC bill this morning.

I do hope it's worth the wait!
