I am looking for a new receiver and controller for my new emaxx 3905. I have no distance with my stock system so I want a new one. I want on that is fairly cheap but will fit in the stock receiver box. I am thinking about the dsm ones. Any suggestions would be nice.
I thinking about this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXSGB0&P=7 would it work with the emaxx.

I have the Futaba 3PM FASST, and I really like it. It's got a lot more model memory than the Airtronics, but they're both nice units. I think it's about six one way, half a donzen the other. I gave $179 for my Futaba with free shipping. If you don't want to spend that much, you can get a new FM Futaba 3PM for around $120. The FM is a good system as well, but if you will be running your RC around other people, than 2.4 GHz is the way to go.

Would the airtronics work in the stock reciever box? Do they get pretty far distance in signal? I don't need much memory. Is there a 2 channel one? How do I hook up the two servos in it? Sorry about all of the questions. Thanks.

Here are the dimensions on the artronics receiver Dimensions: 1.03"(L) x 1.18"(W) x .75"(H) so unless your current receiver is smaller then this one it should fit no problem just take some measurements of your current receiver and compare the two and that radio should work fine and give you more distance with less interference.

If you want a mid step up have a look at the JR xs2 or xs3, its a synthesised FM so no crystals and they can usually be had cheap from all of the chop shops on ebay. Just a thought

I like not having such a big antenna. At towerhobbies I can get $20 dollars off plus free shipping and I have a $25 gift card. But i don't know How to hook up dual servos in it.
