Can anyone guess what I'm going to do? I'll give details and pictures as I go, as well as anything I think may be helpful for others.

I did remove the roll bar on the back of the body and the rubber body clip retainers. I'm going to cover everything and just cut the holes out again when I'm done. Hopefully that will help prevent those holes from being a weak spot.

I'm also going to return the 1 fl oz tubes that I have left and get 2 3.7 fl oz tubes from Walmart. Much bigger!
Depending on how much product you are going to go through...

In no way am I suggesting something.🤪

I got 2 3.7 fl oz tubes now instead of two remaining 1 fl oz tubes, definitely have enough to finish it. The first layer dried well overnight and seems to have held, I applied a second layer of tape and added a bit of hot glue where needed to hold it down. You have to move quickly and apply the hot glue in thin lines or it could deform the Lexan. I'm leaving the shoe goo in the sun for a few minutes to let it warm up so it will apply easier as @majin suggested. Looking good!
