I have regretted selling my CRT.5 since about 2 days after i sold it and since its the one rc i had literally no issues with, other than those caused by other driving, i am going to build up another one.
Its the Ofna 1/12th scale truggy and the roller i am getting already has the monster RC brushless conversion on it as well as a tekno battery tray.
My dilema is what setup to run. At first i was sold on a mamba max on 3S just like before. That setup runs cool, can hit close to 50mph, and is relatively cheap.
Then i started thinking about running a mmm instead. Getting a lower kv motor and stepping up to 5S on it. This would give me unreal top end but i could adjust my epa for bashing if i wanted to.
Then i started thinking about weight. I don't want to load it down with electronics and start stressing the drivetrain even though it is one of the strongest drivetrains i have encountered. I want to keep it light and nimble so i can jump it without bottoming out and blowing shocks out.
Lets get some idea rolling!
