New Orleans

I am going to New Orleans for the first time. Going there for a siminar for work and will be there for 3 days. The hotel we are staying at is only 8 miles from burbon street, to bad Mardi Gras will be over. Anyone else been to New Orleans.

Whats the Thompsons Christian. I am going to herhannah, or something like that in New Orleans. I will be staying at the Hampton Inn and that is like 8 miles from burbon street. The guy I am going with did some searching and found this bar called Coyote Ugly and it is suppost to be just like the movie, might have to check it out. If you have been there you no of any good places to hit, like bars strip clubs or eating places. I love hot food, the hotter, the better.

I'm supposed to go down there for a conference in March. Never been there myself. The conference we are supposed to attend is called the Thompsons. Its for purchasers of bad debt :bling:

Leaving in the morning March 1, 04. I will be down there for 3 days. I am going to a siminar for work and it is an Ansul Class. Its about Fire Extinguishers. Hell I know everything they are going to talk about, so it is going to be a nice little vacation.

I personally try to stay away from new orleans. but i have been to the aquarium of the americas a few years ago and it is pretty cool. as for burbon street i have never been and plan not to go. If i remember correctly the Riverwalk is pretty good for shopping and take a riverboat ride.

I have a few friends that went to college there, and a few that have been to Mardi Gras. From what they've said, it's the dirtiest, nastiest city they've ever been to.
But, the city has lots of history and I'd still like to visit one day.
