Should’ve done a Re-Re of the Rulux IMHO..

For non-“dished wheel” options, I’ll stick with Dialed-RC or VP-Pro “Cobra”, or remain hopeful that Klinik RC releases their spokes in 1/8 truck like I believe they are.. Ya dropped the ball, Ruona..

I agree. His reminds me of the old maximizer bradlocks on the revos circa 2008.

He’s so stuck in this “retro” 80’s thing, and it doesn’t make a bit of sense to me.. There were no truggies in the freakin’ 80’s..-and they’re not 2wd 1/10 buggies anyhow.. I just don’t get it.. oh well..

Yeah, the HPI Super Stars. No idea why HPI hasn't brought them back. They are my favorite buggy wheels.

I can't find a pic of the exact wheel I'm looking for but I like the vintage look.

If they brought the concave Rulux back out with the proper new style buggy/truggy bead setup, they would not be able to keep them on the shelves..

They’re something different. But downside they would cake up mud easier. I have an old set of Jconcepts wheels I’ll find that was smooth on both sides. The never took off for some reason. Looked cool though

Jconcepts seem to like mixing things up some. Here is an older 1/8 buggy 2piece wheel. Somewhere around 2011. The white front piece was like a thin cap that is attached by set screws in the back piece. The theory was dirt wouldn’t build up on the inside like regular wheels with fins

I now only buy from JConcepts what I absolutely cannot get from someone else because of it. IE-specific bodies, and specific tires. That’s it. I used to buy as much as I could from him too.. Not anymore.
