Hi fellow racers.
Need advice. pbl from someone who experienced with racing on SSTE.
Need to buy a new tires, but... it doesn't fit.
I tried one of the racer's wheels on a track...front one during full lock - is touching the steering block. not too tight but enough to activate diff working.
Was trying to find 1-2 mm hub extenders but there are only 12mm (from ST) availible.
Do anyone know any other extender which will fit the chassis?

Thanks a lot!

As far as I know, normal 1/8 scale 4" truggy wheels of today should have the same backspacing/offset. I can almost guarantee Hobao's SSTE's wheels are not up to today's "standards"... from what I gathered, stock SSTE wheels have less backspacing and are wider. Can you measure the backspacing of the stock Hobao truggy wheels? You'll have to compare that number with someone (at the track, or here) who has a standard offset 4" truggy wheel. I can't help you as I don't have any 4" truggy wheels that you're after.

Perhaps these would work...

Thank you my friend.
At least i know what to search

@RustyUs it is impressive how much information you keep in your memory lol. how old are you man? it seems like you got 25-30 years of RC experience in your 18 haha.

Thankyou so much for this
Thanks to you i did find an extenders, BUT also i found a cheap set of wheels FAST1091WD
They have 1/2 offset, and they are 2 times (if not 3) cheaper the other tires.
Hopefully they will work 2.5 out of 5 on astro (just need it to work better then my worn stock tires) and 3.5 of 5 on hard loose dirt
they should arrive today, so i will see if that fits.

Let's just say I'm old and been around the block... a few times:rolex:

The guy in the earlier post is supposedly helping Hobao with feedback for new buggy and truggy.
