this is the new hyper 7 pcr w04 that paul coleman ran at the worlds....looks pretty cool.....should be out around march-april as per ofna....
give some opinions....

apparently ofna says there is nothing on this pcr that will interchange with the older hypers....

looks sweet to me

He isn't that my Pcr Pro? LOL Looks very similar to it.

I thought the new ofna was called the Jamin Jp-1 or something like that.

I think you are think of the Jammin buggy . Forget the name

susposedly the hyper 7 that was drivin at the worlds has different suspension geometry than the other hyper 7's. thats about all i know.

yes it wad driven at the worlds.. paul had many positive things to say about it... I've been told by the tech guy that this things has diffs as small as a 1/10 scale sadan... this is NOTHING like the hyper... none of the parts will switch... or very few will.. its 99% different

the new ofna jammin buggy is the x1-cr...it looks to me alot like the 9.5 violator...

as for the w04 thats what ofna says too...that nothing interchanges...also they went to 3.5 shock shafts.....

W04

I'd wait for the W04 it ran well at the worlds, jammin just has too much unnessicary parts in my opinion

i can smell the money in your wallets getting uncomfortable again LOL
Looks like a nice buggy wonder if it will be as good as the xb8 777 mbx5 prospec????

honestly do you guys really need these pro buggies? think about it. spend 800 for the MP777sp1 when i could just go buy a cheap little hyper and still be able to woop you on the track. It all about driver with these little buggies, the car will not make you a better driver or do better in a race. Its all based on your driving sure an engine can help u get to the front fast but you have to be able to drive with your speed... my thought on it as long as you are not running an LX Pro id say you would be happy with any buggy you got. anyone agree with me?

I can't agree or disagree with you because I have yet to drive a pro buggy. I will have the chance in the spring to test a 777sp and a prospec. I know that my pcr will walk all over a mbx4 but after that I can't answer your question.

as long as you are not running a bottom of the line car you have a good shot at winning... all you need to do is find a nice set up and a nice powerplant in there and kick ass

yeah but i am a good driver (by results, not to sound conceited at all)and when you couple that with a pro buggy you have a deadly combo....lol

who am i kidding...i can't drive...I'm hoping the xb8 will make me look good....lol

even if you can drive then u still can win.. you dont need a pro car till yor runnin with pros

Umm I agree and disagree, if you give a good driver a poop kit he may win and have good lap time, if you give a good driver a good kit he will win and have better lap times.
Cheap kits fall to bits and break easily, exspensive kits generally have most of the weak point taken out, and the grade of plastic, alloy, and carbon are generally alot higher, Cheap kit generally dont stay around long so when they do break you can't get parts for then, exspensive kits do stick around and you can get parts normally for it intire life

i agree to the point were a bad driver will not do any better with a good kit than a cheap one, but when he does get good he wont have to go and buy a top kit cause hes already got one.........

well thats where its falling into a different cadigory... what I'm saying.. if you are experianced.. you wouldent be asking for the best buggy.. wouldent you kinda figure it out on your own? all i mean is people that ask for the best are really lookin for it and they have probably been racing for like 2 months.. thats all i ment...but yes if you are very experiance it will help to have that advantage that is if u really can handel it all

lol kyosho that would be coming from someone who doesn't drive a pro kit and probably dosent really know the difference it can make, other wise everyone on here would own a kit from 1969

The lightning Pro2 I ran for the 2nd half of the season improved my results immensely, I went from qualifying at the bottom of the "C" final and sometimes worse, to qualifying in the middle of the "B" and once was the pole sitter in the "B" (8th fastest on the day out of 60 drivers as we run "bump up" finals).

The car made a difference to me!!!

but think about it... I'm not saying you can take an old car and win... all buggies now are pretty much similar unless they are poorly made just to attract attention... and ryan what car did you have before the lightning? I'm sure there will be a reason why it went up like that...

if you are running against of compition i can understand why you would get it and you gotta set it up to run to its full potential... and i wasn't meaning the people that are really good racers.. I'm mostly aiming for the beginer crowd cause most noobs look for the best car when they can't even handel what they got...

Ryan i notice in your profile you said you have a GS Storm. GS Storms were build for bashing and durability. The Lightning is aknock off of the kyosho kanai 2 that could be the difference there
