Well finaly got my PCR Pro kit friday night but was a little disappointed when I got it home. When I opened the "kit" I found that it was basically fully assembled with only the shocks radio moter etc. to be put on. The instructions that come with it are the worst I have ever seen consisting of a booklet of exploded view pictures and nothing on the PBS setup or camber, castor toe in etc. There is a big bag with the c-hub front end and some CF parts and braces. Also a bag with pipe clutch etc. The quality of everything looks very good but I am still unsure if I need to change out any of the parts for the CF stuff or the different braces. If it sold as a kit it should be a kit, I guess I will have to strip it down as I will bet there is grease in the diffs and not oil.

The Ofna Hyper 7 PCR "Pro Kit" comes unassembled in kit form. I would question the place that you purchased it from.
Almost sounds like a possible RTR swith-aroo to me...

I got it from a LHS who special ordered it in for me. They are very honest so if something happened it was before they got it. It was in a box which had an OFNA seal on it and the case that it comes in had the zippers locked together with a wire tie. The body is still in its bag unpainted and the other bags were unopened. On the box and on the case it says PCR Pro. The tires were not mounted on the wheels and it is new. The upper deck is CF and it looks like both servos would be lay down.

Well I called OFNA and the kit is supposed to be 80% complete. I described what it looked like and what I had in the box and they assured me it is right. So I guess I have to strip it and put it together right.

Looks like you answered the question already. The OFNA Hyper PCR Pro kit comes 80% assembled. A little unusual for a kit, but it still leaves all the important options up to you.

I agree with the assembly and instruciton manuls. Some of the worst I have ever seen. The best instruction manual I have seen is for the Revo, and the best assemebly instructions I have used so far is on the HPI RS4-3 SS kit. I built that thing in 3 nights and had only one small screw up.

Actualy I was told that when it was a true kit the instructions were so bad that it was decided to assemble it as that was cheaper than re-writeing the instruction manual. They did tell me they were working on some sort of manual that would be available online. i agree my Revo manual is very complete also the manual I got with my RC10 kit was really good.

Enjoy your PCR Pro, Canlogic. I am waiting for dry weather and to get over a real nasty flu so I can break mine in. I have a new radio and Rx waiting for it, but I will break it in with the stock radio just so I can see the difference.

I got over the flu not that long ago, never had it before. I hate shots but I just might get the flu shot next year. Everyone I know who got the shot did not get the flu, those who didn't got it. If you can find a product called cold-fx out of Calgary Alberta get it, it does wonders.

After talking to OFNA tech support last night I will strip my PCR pro down and reassemble it. I am still waiting for my OS vspec to come in this friday then will start the assembly. I will go with traditional diff oils and 40 in front shocks and 35 in rear to start. I will use the Jammin 1 pipe and just need to order some tires and decide on paint.

The Jammin 1 pipe is a great pipe. I am thinking of going with the OFNA 053 pipe on mine to get more out of the low end of the Hyper 8 port engine.
