As you guys have seen, I like to shoot pictures of my new bodies at various stages. Here are a couple shots of my jungle themed Hummer H2 Mini-T lid.

Here you can see various colors that I haved mixed up for the project.

Thats gonna be pretty sweet. Its kinda tricky painting them lil buggers aint it?

actually, it's not very hard at all. I've practiced the basic technique a little bit. This body will be 90% handpainted in order to get the effects I'm looking for. I'm pretty stoked about this one. I think it's going to be my best work yet.

It's not turning out too bad. I've made one major mistake (started doing the dark "bark" before I painted the vines)and I'm not impressed with brushing on the background color. I should have sprayed it medium/heavy then just gave it brush strokes. Oh well, live and learn. Overall it's not too bad so far I don't think.

Here's a couple more shots. I just finished painting the greenery. It still needs to be backed though. The next shots will be of the finished product. I still have plenty of decals to cut as well as plasti-dip to spray (fender flares/runningboards, hood piece, roof rails and bed liner)

Nice job so far. I was thinking about doing one of these for my 18t.

thank you. I havn't had time to work on it since I did the green... painting seems to be a weekend only activity these days.

Finally Finished!

Well here it is. My latest attempt. I'd like some feedback fellas.. What do you like? What don't you like. I'm experimenting with different things so I'd like to know what I'm doing right AND wrong. Thanks everybody!

I Like it!!!!....

There is alot of work in there. My only feedback is I would have had a darker tan or another patch color to darken the top half....it sticks out funny..(now that is being really hyper critical so take it with a grain of salt)

Anyway my two cents....you guys that can work that much detail inspire me.

I actually think the tan looks good, but the green is too artsy fartsy, I would have used more of a forest or hunter green. Other than that I think it looks cool.

Maybe you are right.....if the green where darker adn or spots of it in the cammo pattern??

Now we are really picking the nats ass..;)

i think it looks pretty sweet. the only thing I'm not too fond of is the vines on the windshield, is it supposed to be like the vines are actually there, or is it just supposed to be a paint scheme. either way, its pretty awsome

I think it looks pretty sweet. Only thing I would have done different is use a darker green, but thats just me. Looks good. Thats a nice looking rig.

I like the scheme and the work looks great but the colors or off. The tan and the green are a little too bright, a flatter tone would have set it off.....But I can't paint for poop so my opinion doesn't really count.

I TOTALLY agree about the green guys. It looked a lot darker when I was mixing it up. Thanks for the feedback!
